Happy Bird-day to you!

 Hello Bloggers!

I wanted to make a happy color card, I found this paper while we were on vacation and when I saw it,  I knew I had to use it with this stamp set, which I borrowed from my friend Sharon. This card is for the Midnight Madness sketch challenge #64.  I have heard all kinds of good things so I had to give it a try.
The paper if from Tree house collection and it is called Neighbors, it is such a fitting name for this paper. The green check is from Hobby Lobby. The bird house stamps are made by Papertrey and it is called Bird watching.
Thanks fro stopping by, have a great day!

Happy Birthday sister!

Hello Blogger!

Today's card is for my sister, her birthday is this week. This image is a Mo manning digital stamp. This stamp just cracks me up! It is called Step sisters, is it not a hoot!
I wanted to use the background paper that I just picked up from Hobby Lobby, the paper is by My minds eye called bloom and grow. The image is colored with my copic markers and the prima flowers are from Michaels.
Happy Birthday Nadia! Hope it is a great one and wishing you many more!
Thanks everyone for leaving comments, I greatly appreciate them, please keep them coming!

Oh my... Peach pie!

Last summer my friend brought me some fresh summer Michigan peaches home from her vacation and I made this delicious peach pie. it was so good her husband asked if I would make him one! There is nothing like home made peach pie, this recipe card is for Flourishes whats cooking challenge.  I made this simple recipe card. using my copics I colored in the smaller peaches and I used apricot appeal for the larger peach stamp that is in the background.

Stars and stripes

This is for today's way to use it on SCS.  The challenge was to make a card for 4th of July or Canada day. Without using red or blue or any thing close to these colors. I decided to use my embossing folder, and 3 stars.  Very easy and no stamping, I will add a saying when I decide where this is going. Thanks for looking.
